Verselandia 2012!–Portland’s First All City High School Poetry Slam,–starts at 5:00pm on April 25th at the Mission Theatre.
The MC is slam national champion Anis Mojgani. Competitors are selected from the high school slam semi finals, hosted by PPS Librarians (CHECK OUT THE WHO PAGE TO SEE FINALISTS’ NAMES!) Verselandia’s 2012 Slam Champion will be chosen by local celebrity judges. The event is produced by Portland Literary Arts and sponsored by Portland Monthly and the Paul G. Allen Foundation.

Hello there…it says that this is an All City High School Poetry Slam. Does that include other non PPS districts? Fir Ridge Campus, the alternative high school for the David Douglas School District, has been putting on slams for over five years now. How can we get involved? Or is it only open to PPS?
